Nursery I: Wedding Theme Inspired
When we were getting married in 2022 I was working at a design store in KC that really celebrated traditional style and specifically "blue and white." We got engaged during that time and so my wedding theme was inspired by those design elements. The nursery design didn't come along until 2024 but starting from that design perspective was a fun way to reflect on our journey together.

Nursery II: Gender Neutral Grandmillenial
This nursery design was created for a friend and her husband who are adopting. I was so grateful to be able to assist them with pulling together pieces that were both new and vintage for such a special moment.

Nursery III: Charming Cozy Cottage
This nursery design concept was created for my cousin and her husband who are expecting in July 2025. Their style is cottage with a few hints of modern. She wanted touches of green and blue, as well as natural wood tones.

Nursery IV: Pop Culture Inspired
Chappell Roan's hit song "Pink Pony Club" has been one of the biggest songs of the moment so I wanted to play around with a design that really celebrated the color, as well as the playfulness and modernity of being a girl today.

Nursery V: Gender Neutral - Mocha
This nursery was created using Amazon products only. I recently became an Associate for them and was excited to challenge myself to create a look using a non-traditional (gender neutral) color. I also wanted to curate a look exclusively using items from their offering as the company has become such a convenient staple for so many of us.

Kid's Playroom I: Traditional with a Twist
In early 2025, I began working with a wholesale supplier with an impressive depth and breadth of products for kid's spaces. I put together a basic starter kit of 5 items for a playroom whose style is traditional with a twist. This was both a throwback to my previous work compiling more traditional designs and a nod to my present and future - which leans into designs that celebrate both functionality and style.

Playroom II: Zoo Inspired
This playroom design was inspired by a recent trip to the KC Zoo. I worked with AI to create this whimsical space. I love using AI to play around with design concepts. The wonderful aspect of this technology is that it efficiently allows both the designer and client to envision potential and then pivot as necessary.

Playroom III: Spring Garden Inspired
This playroom was inspired by our time spent outside this Spring. We been both sprucing up the backyard and discovering wonderful local KC parks. I used AI to see how I might bring the beauty of the outdoors inside and I love how immersive this design feels - like you are truly in a magical garden.
