About

Rebecca is now a mom but way before her motherhood journey began she grew up crawling around home decor showrooms thanks to her family’s involvement in the industry. Her father was (and still is) both a painter and a business man, a striking combination that impacts her to this day.

During her childhood Rebecca's Dad owned and operated a retail showroom in Topeka, Kansas called Kopp’s Carpet. And his Sister owned Kopp's Decorating Center located one hour away in Kansas City. This business is still operating today and the building boasts original signage visible from a major Kansas City highway.

Rebecca's Uncle owns and operates yet another design business in KC called Designer’s Library. Watch the video below to see the store today which is only open to the design trade. From this family involvement in the industry Rebecca understood from a young age that curating beautiful things was to be a personal passion.

When it came time to establish her career Rebecca went out west to California, earning a Bachelor’s in Urban Studies from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Master’s in Public Art Studies from the University of Southern California. She spent the next 13 years cutting-her-teeth at California’s top interior design firms, art galleries, and working with creative brands in both Southern and Northern California before moving back to the Midwest in 2021.
