It was a beautiful day in Prairie Grove, Arkansas on Friday June 7th! The city is ~3.5 hours from Kansas City. We attended the opening day of the Junk Ranch 2024 show which runs through Saturday.
I found items for my nursery design project as well as for Trader Bec's! The paint by numbers original (below) was a perfect consideration for our little one's future room.
These horse bookends (below) were lovely too - and will provide a touch of "soft, masculine" energy to the nursery.
Lastly for that space this one-of-a-kind sign (below) really was remarkable and so sweet. Where will you ever see a second one of these? That is precisely what I love about antique shopping! Whatever you find and fall in love with is surely going to give you a look that is completely your very own.
My husband is a collector of tiki and has a custom tiki bar in our home so he definitely came out on top with tons of finds perfectly suited for his space.
There were so many wonderful things so it's hard to pick a favorite but I was swooning over some gorgeous Turkish runners.
After we visited most of the ranch we traveled a short drive to downtown Prairie Grove...it was a very hot day (sunny, high of 88 degrees) but manageable with sunscreen, bug spray, an umbrella, and plenty of water and refreshments. Below are some pieces I found in downtown PG. Not only were the items exceptional curated, they were styled effortlessly.
I'm looking forward to spending more time in Arkansas shopping and sourcing (as well as the Prairie Grove area specifically) as there were a number of cute(!) antiques stores and not enough time to see them all. I would highly recommend adding a stop at the Junk Ranch to your calendar next year!
