Spring is in the air and we could not be more excited! My son, Elvis, and I have been out in the yard really enjoying these first days of warmer weather. We have been sprucing up the backyard as well as visiting a lot of local, KC parks. We are fortunate to have so many nice parks in the surrounding area.
On our list this Spring is to re-zone the backyard so there are dedicated areas for different activities. We are interested in creating an area of relaxation for the grown-ups, as well as an area for gardening, and an area for the kiddos to play. (Our baby boy plus invited friends or family in the weeks ahead).
I have personally been shoveling some rocks as we needed to complete a walking path and repurpose some existing stone. I have been scouring FBMP (Facebook Marketplace) for good deals and there are definitely some gems on there, you just have to be quick! ;)
